Night Owl?

Friday, March 08, 2013

So, I recently started a new job, which is good since I've been out of work since last July. However, the job is third shift. I'm having an interesting time adjusting to this new time shift. Especially my eating schedule. Has anyone else had an experience like this? How did you finally adjust to the 3rd shift lifestyle?

I just don't want my weight loss goal to suffer because of these changes.

What is third shift? Is that like graveyard? When I worked g/y I would eat small meals and drink alot of water during shift. The first one is always the hardest, during the day, you want to eat normally but can't since you'll be up all night so you kinda have to spread out your calories over 24 hours. Lately when I have had to work overnight shifts they are unexpected so that's a little trickey. I mostly work evening shift so I eat breakfast then a snack around noon then lunch at bout 330 before I go to work at 5. I havemy supper break at 7. I'm not always hungry for supper depending on what i have for lunch. You gotta find what works best for you. Good luck.
