One of my facebook friends is the ex of a good friend. She posts quite frequently about getting a manicure, scheduling a massage, flying to and from beaches, etc. I think she's works as a model. The point is this: I often find myself scanning facebook over lunch, and I a little wave of jealousy crashes over me. HOW can she afford the time/money to run to the spa/salon/fancy new restaurant just on a whim? To be clear, I like this person. I don't begrudge her any of these activities.

My friend and I had purchased a groupon for a mani/pedi. We had scheduled it for earlier in the week, but had to reschedule for today at 2 pm. TWO! That means we got to leave work to get pampered for an hour. We didn't sneak out or anything so daring, but we were giggling the whole way to the salon and back. It just seemed so deliciously impossible that we got to get our nails done during working hours. I made it back to work in time to finish up some projects, then I ran over to the gym for a grueling weight-lifting session.

I felt like my facebook friend today, except for the model part! haha.

I'm glad you enjoyed your manicure you probably enjoyed it more then she does cause she's spoiled by getting them all the time and you don't so it was a treat.
