Thanks to all who have posted comments and encouragement on my blogs/page! I have struggled lately with my motivation to workout and to avoid those pitfalls of candy and treats at work. I think I am getting back on track, though, after making it to the Y yesterday morning and a quick trip to the grocery last night. I bought lots of fresh veggies and fruit.
This morning, I walked at the Y before/after my weigh-in for the Transformation Nation Triad (TNT) that our local YMCAs are putting on. Up 2 pounds, but that is ok. After meeting with dd and the school counselor to work on her schedule for next year (graduating as a junior), I joined my class at the Y and walked the track with the ones who weren't swimming. Then I walked with a colleague after school (after meeting with a parent).
Did really well with my food today as well.
- banana, almonds, and pistachios for breakfast
- salad, grilled chicken, and grapes for lunch
- apple, baby carrots, and almond butter for snack
- salad, bbq, and slaw for dinner
- clementine for snack
* I did dig into the peanut butter jar before running dd to soccer practice
