Living the Good Life Do I need some motivation or advice? Ask for it

As part of a team challenge we are blogging daily for a week to keep motivated about accomplishing a change in our life that will help us lead and enjoy a healthier lifestyle. My goal is to reduce the weakness of eating almond snickers, my candy of choice. Unless someone wants to sit on my shoulder in the grocery store and convenience stores I just have to wear my big boy getting smaller pants and keep track of how a Snickers will affect my daily meal plan. Being a part of a team effort that succeeds as the whole team moves forward is a great motivator for me.

    Rusty as others are saying WE DO NEED a FEW Treats, BUT !! U and I both have a WEEE BIT of a "CONTROL" issue huh,,,when it comes to our "food of choice" being urs the almond,,,and me the Reece's,,,, if I AM GOING to BUY them,,, lets face it,,, I AM GOING TO $AVE $$S$$ and BUY them in BAGS and ON $ALE whenever possible,,,, USUALLY that means MORE than ONE bag,,, USUALLY. NOT ALWAYS.

So well once that bag gets OPENED,,, SWISH,,, In goes MY HAND,,,, and YUMMY it GOES IN AND IN AND IN AGAIN and AGAIN. There's SIMPLY NO CONTROL. BUT !!! There ARE other candy bars, I ALSO enjoy that I CAN/DO enjoy and DO LIMIT. How about you Rusty? If the same,,, why not also do as suggested from what many have suggested here? PUt them INTO ur tracker (being TOTALLY honest) and ENJOY a FEW (not A LOT and DO NOT PLZ make them a meal). Meals are real food. LOL Rusty,,, I am even now using the "White Monster" now,,,,, (Stove) its hallarious !!! TOTALLY FUNNY !!!

Hope this helps you the way its helping me. I have some plain old Hershey bars here,,,,, they are EASY for me to control.

    My trick to day was to let the Heath bars visit my cart for awhile and then take them out at check out, cause I either felt guilty or had good sense.

    Just imagine one of us actually sitting on your shoulders at the store. The embarrassment alone would make you avoid the candy isle. Of course, the toppling tower of people would be quite the spectacle as well.

    While everybody needs their treats, you have to figure out and decide whether THAT is a treat you want to indulge in. I have treats BUT I try to plan them into my daily eating schedule. CHOICES is what the game is ALL ABOUT. We CAN have those treats but we have to decide if it fits into our lifestyle plan.
