SCALE BROKEN. Not only is my weight not going down, today it went UP.

I've only just started, usually at this stage my weight just drops off! Have been eating immaculately, not drinking, cut back on caffeine...

However, I'm not actually concerned, because the other thing I'm doing is EXERCISE. And I have a feeling that means I don't necessarily lose weight as FAST - but the overall healthiness is better!

My waist measurement is definitely dropping! Other measurements are hovering, PROBABLY on the downward side, but still too early to tell.

    Yup - some of us are really slow at losing, or plateau a lot. Just hang in there!

    Losing inches, building muscle, and doing your heart good....WIN, WIN, WIN!!! The scale WILL come around...just remember that the scale doesn't take everything in to building muscle, added fluid (time of the month) drinking more water etc etc.... The scale is NOT my friend, when I started on SP I weighed myself once in the morning and once at night...people advised me not to but I did anyway! I found too many times that the number on the scale would determine my mood and my mood would effect my determination...especially if I gained or stayed the same when I thought I should have lost. NOW, I weigh myself every 2 long as I am doing the work, exercising and working out than I don;t worry about it. If I am doing all I can than it is what it is.

    Sometimes the way you feel and the way your clothes fit says it all :)

    I going through the same thing. We just get use to the number on the scale not the tape measurements . Hang in there the way I see it the scale will drop sometime. But our reward is small pants in the mean time

    I hear that! Slow going can be frustrating but adding exercise to your routine can only lead to losing inches! emoticon
