I read this today.

Oh my goodness is it something I wish I could begin to manage, I spend a horrible amount of time thinking over things that have past, things that I have done wrong, been wronged by people... urgh too too much.

We should all remember to live in the now.

Oh how I try!! But it's hard sometimes... the past haunts... the future is sometimes scary... Life is to be lived now. Thanks for the reminder!!

Absolutely , positively the now is the only part we have control of.
The past is only there for good memories it is not there to dwell on just leave that alone. Forget the past except for the sweet memories.

None of us can control the future either, I am at the age where I prefer not to look ahead except for the grocery list and the next meal and when we will go out and have fun together.

The now is the part we should cherish and enjoy. I have my Spark friends right here at my finger tips. Mt Kids are all very long distance phone calls and still at my fingertips.

And my Darling DH is always close by and our fingertips can be entwined any time so the present is the part we must strive to make the most and the very best of. HUGS Pat in Maine.

be here now. it is tough, but sitting around thinking leads to unhappiness, something that i too am guilty of! i am trying to train myself to stop that roundabout thinking and focus on the moment, where i want to be in it or not!!

So true that it makes you wonder why it's so hard to do.

It is amazing how often we can get in our own way! I don't know how many times I have to learn the lesson of living in the now and remembering that while I may not be in control of other people's actions, I am in control of how I react to them.

Thanks for the great link!

I am such a worrier! I must have time in my day just to ruminate.
Hard to master, that one.
