Just sitting here content with on my lap with the laptop as I type. DH and I took his Dad for some new treatment for his back pain....something to do with readjusting his energy forms in his body. Yep, they have all kinds of interesting stuff down here in Mexico. But fun to try....and painless.
Anyway after that my DH and FIL wanted to go out for ribs and beers. With my maintainence plan of always getting back on program after a splurge, I was on plan yesterday and managaed to drop a half pound from the other day's splurge. So that put me a half pound under goal of 110. So I said what the heck. Enjoy off we went.
I enjoyed my beers and ribs(best ever) and now feel a bit lazy but the good news is that I know for a fact that tomorrow I will be happy to get right back on plan and get off whatever the scales tells me tomorrow.
Got this figured out now.

    Yeah, been there!
I tripped over a couple of "WIld Blue" beers in Sarasota today. Got home and had calorie shock when I saw where they scored! I'm definitely going to have a healthy week up to my Duathlon in 8 days!

    Keep us posted on your FIL and if he responds to that energy treatment. It sounds really interesting. I imagine the father-son time they log enjoying those ribs and beer is pretty great for their health and spirits, too! That's great they're so close...and I'm glad you were able to partake of those goodies as well. Yum!

    I really admire you for getting on top of it and having it all figured out. I can't wait until the day I can say "what the heck" to beer and ribs without guilt!

But for now I am living vicariously through you, and know that if I put in the same amount of hard work you have, I'll get there one day!

    You can keep the beer - I never did like the stuff. But I do like a nice fruity wine. And ribs! Good, sloppy, saucy ribs! My theory is, the more delicious it is, the messier it is to eat!
Making mostly healthy choices enable us to make a few little splurges. Blessings to you!
