So I never paused to revisit my February goals:
1. Start using my 5-class trial pass (that I got through LivingSocial on the cheap, woo-hoo!) at a local yoga studio.
Enjoying yoga so far!
2. Exercise at least twice a week outside of Zumba classes.
FAIL. Although I am exercising 3x a week, so I suppose this is an improvement over the 2x per week.
3. Limit grains and dairy (I don't believe in restriction or cutting of any foods, but I do think I feel better when I'm curbing these things).
3.a. 1-2 serving a day of grains, trying to stick to those that are gluten-free
3.b. 3 servings per week of dairy
3.c. Fill in any nutrition gaps with extra freggies for vitamins and minerals
I was about 70/30 on this one. In the beginning of the month I hit grain overload but in the last two weeks I've almost completely eliminated grains. Dairy was the opposite - was doing great, now I am having more servings.
Fruit and veggies are going well!
So I kinda flaked on my goals. :// I do feel there was some improvement, but there's definitely a ways to go!
Tonight I am going to try to re-asses and organize myself and come back with some simple March goals. Making sure some of them align with my "fearless" philosophy, as I feel some of that sliding, too. Wish me luck!
