Mid Week Check-In

So far I am feeling pretty good. I have been decent with my food and exercise. I did injure myself doing the C25k so my exercise hasn't been at the same intensity but I am keeping up with it. Tonight I am going to try the C25k Day 4 but if its hurts (like actual pain not muscle burn) I am going to stop unlike last time and do something else.

So far I have lost 0.4 lbs and I am down to 31% BF. Not overly impressive but it is progress. I am only 0.6 lbs away from my 20 lbs mark and new much needed running shoes! Hooray! I am hoping to at least reach that by Monday morning.

I had to laugh the other day because I guess I am getting a reputation for walking now at work and the weather was AWFUL. Slushy rain, high winds and really cold. So as I make my way out I pass a co-worker and he goes "Wow I didn't think you would go walking today!" At first I didn't realize people noticed but I suppose you don't circle the parking lot 10-12x a day 5 days a week for about 8 weeks and not go unnoticed. It also felt good to be like "Yep, I am!" because nothing stops me these days. I am the postal worker of exercise. "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays this exerciser from the swift completion of their appointed exercise rounds." :)

Update on the back issue... I am headed to the chiropractor in a week. I am still nervous but a little excited. I have been living with back pain for so long as the "norm." Perhaps this will result in a huge quality of life increase! I hope :D
