Yesterday I ran the trail near my house. After a good warm up, I ran fairly hard. I made one mile in 8 minutes and 50 seconds, the fastest I've ever recorded. I realized when I turned around something I hadn't realized when I was running. There was quite a wind. I read that gusts went up to 30mph yesterday. So that time was probaably a bit (or more) wind-assisted. After that I ran-walk-ran several miles very easily. Think I'm ready for my 5Ks on Saturday!!
Today I did half hour on the stationary bike with Aquagirl at the Y and then I did a half hour on the elliptical. Feeling good!
In case you didn't see it in my status, this morning I weighed 126.2, the least I've weighed in well over a year and just .2 from my happy weight. I've pre-planned my food for today, including going out to dinner with my local SparkTeam this eve. I'm committed to sticking to my food plan. I've pared down my morning and afternoon snacks in order to allow for my 780 calorie supper - six ounce sirloin (that's a treat because I only eat steak a couple times a year), plain sweet potato, and vegetable blend. I know that even when I follow it, I could be up 2 pounds tomorrow. Won't derail me. I'm going to have great races on Saturday and get to my happy weight next week or the week after. Just one more week until I celebrate 4 full years at a healthy BMI!!
