Day One

While I signed up last night and put in my food/exercise information, I'm not going to count it as my first day as I wasn't focused on doing better with my food and exercise.

Today, I am a bit more attentive to that and looking to see where I can improve things. The one thing I see happening is that I'm not getting in enough protein. This is an area where I'm just not very good at adding to. It wasn't until a few months ago that I started adding more meat protein to my diet so hopefully that will start going up more. I need to majorly reduce the amount of fat in my diet, which is no surprise. I'm going to get through the food we have in the house then start making better choices for myself (at least for breakfast, lunch and snacks) starting the next time I go grocery shopping.

I'm really looking forward to spring! I want to encourage my getting out walking with being able to take more pictures and hopefully get another photo eBook or two published. For now, though, I really need to focus on using my glider every day.

    I was terrible on protein when I first started. Now I get enough every day. Shake (smoothies), salad with beans or tuna and eggs for me. I wasn't much of a fat person before but even less now. Nuts and avacados are the highest ones now. You seem to be taking it at a great pace. Keep it up. You can do it!
