ugghhhhh

I was disappointed to see no results in the scale this week. I exercise 4 times a weeks some pretty hardcore fitness. I am just tired of not seeing the scale budge. I have definatley picked up new and healthier habits. Like giving up soda, tracking foods, eating plenty of fruits n veggies and drinking water. so why wont the scale move. My husband is still loosing at least one pound a week which I am happy for but he says now he doesn't eat for taste but for fuel. I know I eat after dinner I get the night munchies but i still stay within a range that i should be loosing. just frustrating i guess. I certainly don't want to give up but HELP!!!!

    Hi there,
    I feel the same way. It's hard, that's why one of my new goals is: to be more accepting of myself. I want to strive to lose weight, be healthy, keep in shape as I grow older, etc., all that good stuff, buy darn it., I need to try and be happy now because my scale is not moving like I want it too either!!! We need to just keep at it. I think it just takes a while of determined consistency. We can do it! Don't lose hope, we just have to keep trying!

    I found that if I didn't eat enough calories I wouldn't lose weight...I lose weight when I eat 1600 to 1800 a day..like you I work out most days of the week. Sometimes we just don't eat enough for us. Just a thought...

    What is your calorie range? Do you ever yo yo with eat, maybe eat 1200 then a couple days a week do 1500, and one or two day 1600 or 1700.

    Can't hurt to try right :)

    Good things are happening inside, I promise. Women's bodies are so different. I feel your pain and frustration but regardless of what the scale tells you, I know you are improvong your health above all. The weight will come off. Once your body finishes healing itself because of the good changes you made, it will reward you with a drop on the scale. Don't give up! You are doing everything right!

    Hang in there hon, it will eventually show when you least expect it too. I've been losing and gaining back the same 4 pounds for a year now. Yes it's very frustraiting but so is life. Remember we want to eat healthy and stay fit the rest of our days so just keep going as long as you know that you are doing the right things then you can't go wrong !!!!
