Recognising Temporary Defeat

Thursday, March 07, 2013

I've been wanting to blog, but so often my day's consist of the same old boring things; so, I was sharing with my friend Jamie about my computer folder full of motivational images. I might not be able to share all of what I find and see, but I can write into my own words what the messages & images mean to me.

Take this one I made this morning, I changed it into something that fits me...

I once saw my Mother join Weight Watchers and for the first month she lost nothing, I would have given up, but not her .. she kept right on plugging along. emoticon emoticon emoticon She was the best partner a gal could have emoticon I sure miss her but I know if she were here, she would say, "Lynn, JAMIE... don't give up!" emoticon

It's always good to remember that defeat is temporary. Thanks for the story to remind us!

My mom was a very disciplined person. She was heavy before WWII, but during the war she lost her excess weight. She never let it come back. I miss my mom, too.

Great word for us 2 long timers! I miss mom too! :) she's looking down at us right now through those portholes and shouting to us keep on going girls! I can hear here cheering us on. The bible tell us that there is a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on" Praise God for our balcony people. Amen. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
