I did a mid-week weigh in this morning and was actually glad I did, for once. I was down to 168.5. Sure, it might fluctuate back up by the end of the week, but it is motivational to see the 160s again.
I am hoping the combination of adding exercise and more water has helped. I've already done two weight workouts this week. Yesterday was my 4th one since I added exercise back in (with a focus on getting the weights done, moreso than just doing all the cardio I could). It was actually harder to get yesterday's done than it had been the 1st 3 times. Maybe because I'm making progress and wearing out those muscles? I hope so. I was about to get bored with the workout I've been doing, but I may stick with it another week to see how I feel, then decide whether or not to switch yet.
I'm down a total of 20 lbs. lost since I started at 188.5. It seems like a long time ago. I think it will actually be a year in April! I had big ideas about losing everything I wanted to lose when I started last april, but you know, 20 lbs. down in a year is fine with me. :) I'm getting older and weight doesn't peel off like it used to, and I'm also still nursing (not full-time but enough to hang on to some fat). If I can knock off 20 more lbs in the next year I'll be where I want to be weight-wise in order to have Next-Baby, or enjoy being thinner for a while if we decide to put it off longer.
