WHAT CAN I IMPROVE ON IN MY HABIT

Prayer changes things and I know I have had answers to prayers. I need to just take the time and energy to pray for my meal intake. How do I get in such a rush that I forget to acknowledge my makers blessing over my intake. I think the most need for improvement is to slow down and acknowledge my prayer in more of a meditation than a quick bless this food amen. The world is such an instant hurry get it done mode anymore or at least my world is. Forgive me Lord for my fast prayer then eat like I am not even trying to enjoy what is made for my nourisment. I will work on thanking you and enjoying the taste in my mouth. emoticon

    Yes I am guilty of that myself...i have tried to go back to when i was a kid with my mom teaching me what she learned in the orphanage where she grew up...everything was slowed down...

    The rushing of time and never feeling like I have enough has often caused me to rush through a lot of things including eating.

To make life a meditation is not an easy journey.

    Thanks for sharing. Such a good reminder. As a family we always being and end our meal with prayer...but it is often a quick generic prayer. Thanks again.
