Take that, powderpuff!

Yeah, I am talking to you! I am sick of being sidelined with weakness, sickness, or just plain ol' laziness. There, I said, laziness! Not when it comes to work. Not when it comes to figuring out the oh so serious issue my client is facing that only I can figure out. Not a smidge of laziness. No siree Bob. But ask myself to do one push-up, one crunch, one stinkin' walk around the block, and I am just too tuckered to do it.

What is that about?

Since when did I give up on myself and throw myself to the wolves. I know exactly what to do, AND I know what it takes to get it done.

It takes

Belief in oneself

It Takes

and sometimes, it takes a village - but that is what Sparkpeople is --- a village of we get it, we got it, and by golly you can have it too, just freaking do it already.

Whew, it is exhausting waking up, isn't it? : )

Amazing that we take better care of others than we do of ourselves!

I talked myself out of a walk yesterday and I'm not happy that I did. Now we have snow everywhere again! I will have to go to the mall today and I just wish I didn't have to work so I could do it now. I am much better off if I can get teh exercise in during morning hours.

I agree- I had to get 'angry' too, that I always put myself last. That I will go to the end of the possibilities to help everyone- except me. And for me it comes down to worth- and not acting as if I'm worth it. It is hard to 'wake up' sometimes...but WE can do this, together.

I kinda love the "anger" in your tone. A few months ago, that is what it took for me to get back on track. Just plain anger at the way things were going and my efforts. It would be great to get to the "determination" part easier but for me, I just had to get angry. "That's enough! Now, go do what you have to do and what you know you want to do." She said to herself. A person just has to get angry from time to time. :) I know you are on your way and I am there with you as well.

You can do this girl. The fact that you keep coming back is a sign you want this. If you didn't, you'd give up and be a ghost page. That had better NEVER happen, you got it?

    Good morning!

Yes it takes a lot of energy to wake up but once you do, it gets easier. It's like the snowball effect. Once you get rolling, nothing will stop you!

Yes! it takes all that and more. It takes the strength that God supplies.

Be blessed as you move forward!!
