What can I improve upon?

I would like to do more yoga. So far, I've been walking and doing Zumba. Not that I don't love them both, but I don't believe I'm getting enough stretching in. Still, I'm pretty proud. I'm following through on my goal. I'm glad they do these challenges every season. I need to be the first one on board everytime!

    Great plan! I've really missed doing yoga, and I've been trying to be disciplined enough to get it in along with my cardio every day. Trust me, it's worth it, but it's hard to do at the end of a workout. Try separating it from the rest of your workouts, or replacing cardio with yoga a couple of days a week - if your muscles are already tired, it's hard to get the full benefits!

    My mom loves yoga and has gotten much more flexible. Also, her "old age" aches, don't ache as much anymore :) For the record, she's 64, hence the quotes around old age, lol.

    Just start it slow. Build up from there. You should have seen me when I first started yoga. I was so clumsy and hurt myself. I still would be laughed at by accomplished yogis, but I'm getting better. So will you. You might start with "Yoga for the Rest of Us" by Peggy Cappy, or "You Can Do Yoga," by Leslie Sansone. They're great to begin with.
