Ok. So today's question is to think about: What I can improve upon?
This is a great question that have me ponder of my newly developing habits and other area of My Life. As for motivation towards healthy life style such as eating clean and exercise are still very good at this point. As for my performance for in take of veggies & fruits ? I have started thinking am I eating enough? Or eating good quality and variety of them?
Since last September, when I started streaking on my weight loss and health journey, I am eating much more veggies then before, but more of salads. Cause easy for me to prepare. Normally I make garden style salad. I think I may have lacking in variety of veggies and quantities I eat and the way of eating it. I feels time to improve my veggies variation and learn how to eat it. As I am starting to getting boring of eat salads all the time. I think eating iceberg lettuce is not much nutrient then eating spinach or kale. I know some fact about veggies in my head, but its hard to practice. Also I need to learn how to prepare/cook them. How much to serve them. For me, foods serving size is an another part I need to improve upon. Especially, veggies serving portions are tricky.
Today, I had so much encouragement by reading our fellow SP friend GEMLADYONE ( Alie ) 's blog. Her determination of getting fruits and veggies are so diligent and inspiring. She also has some great idea to get more veggie into our daily diet. I am so proud of her and will take her advice and cutting up veggies in advance and keep variety of them in fridge all the time. ( thanks Alie. )
** My answer to: what can I improve upon?
* Find the way to get more variety of veggies and fruits in my fridge all the time.
* Learn how to eat them and learn serving size of foods general. Portion control.
* Strive to get better, try harder then yesterday for whatever I am doing today.
* We all can find something to improve and get better upon. Right?
So, shall we get going? C'mon... Let's get busy!!
