If I try to tackle too many things to "improve," I find that I get so overwhelmed that I lose my gumption and focus and just give up sometimes. I do better when I "chunk things up" into smaller bits. Maybe trying one or two things and working on them for a longer time. When I do, it seems these new ways are incorporated better and become positive habits, positive aspects of my life. Just an idea, try what seems right for you to focus on right now and go with that. Sometimes it's difficult to get excited and energetic about goals that others set for us no matter how right and noble they may be.
