What can I improve on??!!....

Wednesday, March 06, 2013

Seriously? emoticon If I try to tackle too many things to "improve," I find that I get so overwhelmed that I lose my gumption and focus and just give up sometimes. I do better when I "chunk things up" into smaller bits. Maybe trying one or two things and working on them for a longer time. When I do, it seems these new ways are incorporated better and become positive habits, positive aspects of my life. Just an idea, try what seems right for you to focus on right now and go with that. Sometimes it's difficult to get excited and energetic about goals that others set for us no matter how right and noble they may be.

Enjoy this day.

Too many changes is overwhelming, one or two changes is much more manageable over time. That is why I do or we can set ourselves up for failure! emoticon emoticon

I agree -- take on one or two at a time, then after they become a habit then take on another. Too much at once is overwhelming.

I agree that the change or changes you want to make have to be things you set for yourself and at a time when you feel you can achieve it. When someone else sets that goal it probably isn't something you are going to continue and form into a habit. I'm finding that with blogging. I am doing it for our team but I just don't see myself blogging very often after this week. LOL At any rate - go STARS!!!. emoticon

Very well said, we are all different and take on changes in different ways. Making small changes a little at a time can be like taking your medicine with a spoonful of sugar.

Right now is always the best time to focus on.
