Now that my DH is feeling better and able to walk further we are renewing our hiking habit. Its a good and enjoyable habit that we like to do together. His medication is working well.
It did not rain today as expected and forecast, but, the weather was dull and cloudy although quite warm @ 14 deg Celsius.
I was very tired after 2 previous days of hard gardening. Also, my DH kept me awake half the night last night. So we decided to recharge our batteries and go for a short hike, just 2 miles.
We were planning to go to Catherington Down which is a SSS I (Sight of Special Scientific Interest.), But when we got there, the Ranger was strimming and it was noisy, so we looked at the other side of the road and headed for the footpath across the fields towards Hinton Daubney.
The pictures are not very good as it was so dull and misty.

Looking South from the same spot. The road is on the left of picture.
