Quick entry (since my browser window likes to eat blog entries and make them disappear!)
I knew my vacation week would show itself on the scale, but to be honest I didn't think it would be this much! I was kinda down about it earlier, but it makes perfect sense since I wasn't active at all during my vacation. I've definitely accepted the number and I've already moved on to focus on my meals for the next few weeks. I've also warned G that I'm going to be more strict about my morning gym time. He replied, "oh good" and I said "No, I mean I'm going to be more strict about letting you talk me out of it!" ;)
My final acceptance of my weigh-in came with this thought/reminder. We are always asking ourselves, "Am I making changes I can maintain for the rest of my life? Is this a true lifestyle change?" And I realized my answer is that, for the rest of my life I'd like the opportunity to cheat/relax/go off-book for a few days every once in a great while. As long as I'm ready to accept and repair the damage, I'm okay with that.
