Day 4 How are you doing day by day

Blogging twice today. I like this question because it states day by day. As truhart wrote in one of her blogs which inspired me so much, "Each day is a clean slate. Each day is a new chance to do the right thing for your health." If I am to be honest I didn't have the best start but that's ok. I am determined to have a great finish. I thank everyone who made comments on my blogs. emoticon Your suggestions were emoticon. I am going to track my food with each meal. I am going to bring a shopping list with me & use it. I like the idea of brushing your teeth. emoticon so much for all your help!

    I like to track even when I "go over" as well. This is a huge change for me. Since I have been taking SP seriously, I find I am very aware of the health-value of what I am eating. That is also a big change for me. I appreciate the support of all my fellow-sparkers.

    Tracking the food, even if you go over your calories is the best course of action in your journey for a healthier lifestyle. Some will say, I blew it so I am not going to track anymore, but I do it regardless. That way I see what I did and not do it again! Even condiments really add a lot to the calories and sodium for the day...I have greatly reduced or not use some of them anymore. It takes practice, but can be done! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    You have a good thing sit up here sister. It's hard to measure I know.
    I struggle with it myself too. Have you thought of using measuring cups?
    That might help you get into the habit of eating the right portion sizes.
    As for unwanted cravings, drinking water and chewing gum is really good.
    And congrats on the positive self talk. Sounds like you got off to a good start!
