So, this is my first blog entry here at Spark.. I just went out to eat Chinese with my friend Cathy as sort of our last splurge before getting on and riding this bull! I found it tasted pretty crappy : ) Kind of a win for me - if only I can keep all of this in mind while I am changing my habits to healthier ones!! I've decided my first goal is going to be to stop drinking soda (I am enjoying a nice tall glass of iced tea at the moment) and no fast food and hopefully when I'm finished with the last three cigarettes in this pack I'll be done! Life has been really stressful for me right now and unfortunately I pick up smoking when it gets bad. I'm broke, I work two jobs and odd hours for little pay! Yesterday I made the decision to transfer from my location that I've worked at for a little over a year now for a new one. I'm hoping this will help eliminate stress and as for my other job, I'd like to drop hours so I don't feel like I'm constantly on the go! I've been so drained and had so little time to myself that it's been hard to be able to take care of myself as well as I should be. I would like this time to be succesful for me. This is the highest my weight has ever been and it's scary. I have PCOS & HBP and I haven't been treating myself as good as I should. Before picking up where I left off on Spark again I already started making healthier choices. Eating breakfast homemade every morning, eating a lot more vegetables. I have this big dream of growing my own veggies this summer : ) I've already started green onions which are super easy and attempted Romaine lettuce from the ends of my lettuce I buy but I feel like I may have screwed up on that one! Oh well, try again the next time I get some : ) I'm rambling. Just wanting to get this whole blog thing started and and hoping to continue with entries of my trials and errors during this. Oh, and btw... Big deal for me, lost 8.8 lbs since my last recorded entry on my weightloss app I haven't been using so religously.. That is awesome : ) It's always nice to start out on a positive note. Now, to keep going in this direction! What a snooze! Let's hope with time this will become an easier read!!
