Let's end this negative thinking!!

Someone rightly said the more attention on a thing, the more it become intense. the things you fight, you run away, the things you suppress, they become the center of your attention and continuously move into your mind..
Now on enough with this crying and negative thinking..
In order to remove the negative, I will have to focus on the positive.
Instead of focusing on what I don't want, I will focus on what I want.
negative thinking is like that darkness that would be eliminated by the light (positive thinking)
I will finish this project emoticon in time.. I can't let down those who have their hopes on me.. I will do it no matter what.
This negativity will have to go
I can do it and I will... emoticon

    Great philosophy about focusing on what you do want. Just take a few minutes each day to let those things your suppressing out to be thought about so that your brain knows you are giving those times a bit of attention and they don't spill out over into other areas of you life. I do this with a journal. Mostly in list form.

    Oh yes oh yes oh yes. My DH and I talk about this all the time. We need to think more positively. The more I think about it, the more I realize it takes practise...and work...and effort to become more positive.

    Weight wise, if I say "I won't eat any cheese this week"...well of course I want cheese all week long! If instead I say "I will choose lean protein and green veggies this week, there's a much better chance of me staying away from cheese!!! Ah, to understand ourselves....
