I've been thinking a lot about motivation and how to get motivated and stay motivated. And I've decided to break it down into little mini-goals. When I think of the overall goal, I wind up depressed and thinking it's impossible. So a series of mini-goals with appropriate rewards is in order.
My first mini-goal will be ten pounds and the reward will be a manicure. I'm giving myself two weeks to hit this goal.
