Wednesday, March 06,2013 5) What can you improve upon?

Wednesday, March 06, 2013

I can improve upon stress level, when concerned about family members. I tend to worry, when I don't hear from someone. I should remember, No News is Good News!

I should also remember to just pick up the phone and call them.

I should also remember to get out and stay busy talking to people, and than I won't be worried, that something is wrong.

Usually they are just busy with their own lives, Grandma's need to realize this, lol.

Strategy Exercise early, drink water or dandelion tea in early morning to hydrate. Enjoy a smoothie, today was 1 avocado,6 oz blueberries, 1 T flaxseed ground, 1 T peanut butter and 1 teaspoon ginger,12 oz mango juice +6 ice cubes, made in blender.

Lunch will be mixed salad w/spinach and canned salmon, in the middle with balsamic dressing. I can improve upon this by not adding miracle whip to salmon, instead add no fat greek yogurt, or balsamic dressing depending on what I have available. (another improvement, make sure I have what I need so that may mean I need to plan a menu)

To worry is what grand mother/mothers do. I gave up on the kids calling me so I d it every other day even if it just to say hi.
I love that smoothie ingredients.

Oh wow, I do this too. When I get concerned a throw a text out to my daughters to see how they are when we're at work. Then later, I can follow up with a phone chat. It takes a lot of the pressure off. And, BTW, your food choices sound delicious!

Great strategy! And your meal plan seems yummy!!

As a granddaughter, I can say don't worry! I get really busy, and my parents are the same way. We're not in trouble, when we don't call, we're just volunteering or working or we have meetings and events to attend!

Have a great day!

LOL, I was just thinking I hadn't heard from my east coast daughter and then realized.....believe me if something was wrong....I would hear about it in a heart beat.

So that is my recommendation to you, step back out the emotional side.
