Winter 5% Challenge #5

Wednesday, March 06, 2013

How can I improve day by day - I can keep doing my planks daily after the challenge is over and I can make them longer and harder. I think this is such a good goal and I really hope I can keep it going because it is such a win/win outcome!

I started out only doing a 5 second plank and worked up to a 1min 45 sec plank. Yesterday I took a boxing class and between workouts we had to do 3 sets of 20 second planks. was tough but planks are starting to get easier. Now I have to master burpees!
Good luck to you.

I am quite inspired by anyone who does planks of a regular basis. I just cannot get the hang of them.

I have a love/hate relationship with planks - my core loves them, my elbow and shoulder joints hate them.

Planks are great for building arm strength (my weak area).
