2013 Monthly Weight Loss March Update

Well, that sucked. I gained 8lbs in the first week this past month. How? I have no freaking clue. I did not over eat. And then my mindset was all messed up and I was unable to lose that weight during the month, only losing 3 of those 8. Therefore I gained 5lbs last month. Now at 375lbs. Down 23 overall this year. Still good, of course but I was thinking I would be more around 40-45 by now. Oh well. Start this month better then last and push my way through.

I have yet to begin exercising. The family has continued to be sick this past month. Daughter had Strep throat not once but twice. Son got it along with an ear infection. Wife and I each had our bad days as well. A couple kids birthday parties, a farewell party. Not much else going on around here. Looking forward to Spring. It was here yesterday. But today and tomorrow we have another Winter storm coming through, dumping about 8" or so.

I have to get going this month. I need to see some numbers disappearing on the scale.

    Glad you are starting the month with a good attitude about moving things forward. Maybe just start with a little exercise- 10 minutes a day or something might help you feel more active and make it easier to get some traction. Thinking of yoU!

    I so know what you are going through and there is nothing more frustrating than doing so good at losing weight and then you gain so much back. But don't give up stick with it. With your baby being sick you may have been stressed a little and that could be why you gained weight. I tend to do that. I don't eat bad but my body can't handle stress. I end up gaining weight. But hang in there. I did buy a punching bag per se, you know the one that actually looks like a man, Century Bob? Either way, I bought him and when ever I feel just a little stressed or overwhelmed, Bob will get a beating. I love it and it's a great work out. Just a thought in case you were looking for a vent.     I know it was a rough month for you Mike. Hang in there! Stress alone can prevent us from losing weight, and even help us gain some weight at times, even if we are eating as we should.
Let's kick some sickness and weight this month!! emoticon
