Cooking, cooking, cooking...

and enjoying it! Every week I am trying out new Spark People Recipes. I try to make a bunch over the weekend and then have meals ready on weekdays when I come home from work. What are my favorites so far?

Chef Meg has some excellent ones such as her Bulgar Lentil Salad, Sloppy Joes, Sweet Potato Fries, and Chocolate Mousse.

On Spark Recipes, I have discovered Sweet Potato Casserole, Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes, Curry Lentil Soup, Flaxseed Blueberry Muffins, Salsa Chicken and more.

The Slow Cooker recipes are easy to make and the house smells good when I come home from work. My husband is enjoying the new recipes too! We are Sparking together!!!

    Good for you and your family! I also enjoy cooking and freezing. I love the slow cooker, and the homemade soups too. I'm finally enjoying my own food more than eating out, and I've into whole foods, and clean eating. The fresh stuff really is tasty. And I love being able to take something out, unthaw, heat and eat.

    I loved the recipes I made from the SP cookbook. My daughter did as well as she's very picky.

  Keep it up. What better way to live healthier than to eat food cooked by ourselves? Eating healthy is an important part in the healthy lifestyle journey.

    I love cooking too. I do what you do and make a bunch of different things on my day off and freeze it or eat it as the week goes on. Makes life a lot easier.
