Cheater Cheater Pumpkin Eater

So I'm kinda looking for the ky-jelly in my salad relationship before I get bored and cheat on him with something more succulent and bodacious.

So um I eat a salad every day for lunch.
What are some good things/different combinations you add into your salad to make it less boring. cause im getting bored with the same ol and im wanting to spice it up.

I am so hyper right now. I need to stop exercising so late. its almost 2am.

I also think I might have add cause all I can think about when I think about lettuce is horses and how horses like apples and then how a apple was eaten by snow white but i really think it should have been given to grumpy instead because well he was just grumpy and I think he needed the sugar to perk up and oh look a granola chocolate peanut butter crunch bar thingie is only 80 calories.
And then I'm like oh hey look it's teenage mutant ninja turtles.
Yehaw
Man oh Man I need sleep.

    I am a clean eater, on the edge of a raw foodie. One of my newest and favorite salad dressings is a Orange/cashew/wine vinegar/flax seeds blended in my Nutri bullet. It is so YUMMO!!! I saw it on Dr. Oz and had to try it. I like things all natural.

    great job on all those salads!!! Keep in mind you can eat things other than salad if you practice portion control and lose weight! Let me know of new creations you have...I should be like you and eat salad every day for lunch!

  I always add dried cranberries, maybe some sunflower seeds or sliced almonds, green onions, mushrooms, cucumbers, etc. I love love love salads! Now get some sleep! emoticon

    I do salads every day for lunch as well. I vary them - of course the standards chicken cesear, cobb, spinach and strawberry (with bacon crumbles) - but I also do salads like texas caviar (kidney, cannellini, black beans, corn, chopped tomatos, peppers, a little onion), or my hands down fave - cottage cheese, chopped cucumber, chopped tomato, chopped avacado. Avacado makes everything better. i use spritzers instead of regular dressing (because it feels like I get a lot). I also do things like egg salad, tuna salad, and chicken and ham slad (without lettuce) and serve it like lettuce wraps. Yesterday I made my first pizza salad (I was craving something fierce) - turkey pepperoni, grated mozz, olives, mushrooms and chopped tomatoes on wilted romaine. delish. Try grilling your lettuce (so good), try new kinds of lettuces/greens. Sometimes I use power greens or kale (but really I love kale chips). listen to your body - your cravings will call to you - feed some of those. Try adding nuts. Spinach, walnut, and strawberry with turkey bacon crumbles with a little balsamic dressing hits the spot. Spinach and dried fruit and nuts with a mustard dressing is refreshing..... :)

Kidney beans, Black beans, Garbanzo beans, Great northern beans, raisins, craisins, walnuts, pickles, tomatoes, cucumbers, almond slivers, apples, strawberries, salsa, guacamole, mushrooms, raw squash and zucchini, hmmm.. I may come back and add more. lol!

  I, to eat salads every day and have added al of the peppers, red, yellow, green and even through in a few jalapenos! Beets are good for your iron as well. Beans, lentils and I've discovered a real nice egg salad that I add as well, now these are not used all at once. Check a list of veggies and reveiw what you may like. I just enjoy the taste of a basic salad. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    about salads... I eat one almost everyday, for different textures and taste I add one or more of these on various days...
cottage cheese,
regular shredded cheese
tuna fish
salmon
walnuts
pecans

sunflower seeds
garbonzo beans
northern beans
cauliflower
red cabbage
red onions
mushrooms
tomatoes (when in season)
apples chunks (not to be mistaken with the poison apple eaten by snow).
Snow peas
left over pieces of chicken breast sliced or beef from another meal
- there is protein added to each salad and also a few calories, but it never comes out to very much more than a basic salad calorie count and makes those daily salads much more enjoyable.
various combinations of balsamic vingar with herbs and a small amount of EVVO
sometimes I chop everything up very small ... just for a change of texture and it makes everything taste better

    You are right you do need sleep.!!!
For my salads I like to use different spices with my red wine vinegar. i use hot pepper flacks some days. I also like to use the montreal chicken seasoning as well. i just use what is at the local farmers market to keep my salad interesting. have you tried golden beets or the mini multicolored peppers. I also use dried fruit but not too much. also do not be afraid to use a little bit of nuts or avocado on the salad. I use nutritional yeast flakes to top my salad rather than dried bread of some kind.
