Bits & Pieces, and All to Pieces

2013-03-06 (Last updated, 2013-03-06, v1)

I've been behind schedule the last several days because of trouble with my computer. I'd buy a new one. (I really need two – with one as a backup), but it takes time to get everything installed, and I'm just not ready to do that right now, but I may have to with all the problems cropping up. I need to get busy on:

* A new SparkTeam – SP Diversity

So, I need to be briefer.

Thanks to all those who signed up for SP Diversity, I really appreciate your posts, and work on the challenge. I'll try to catch up, before the end of the week.

On the personal front, workouts, especially walking continue to improve, and I seem to be still losing weight, which is beginning to “worry” me. It hasn't been this easy in some time, and despite my worst over-calorie day, since I started 90.5 week ago.

Keep pushing everyone,

lightLee

    Hi Lee! Could it be time to start upping your calories just a bit, to slow down your weight loss? If you're close to your goal weight that might be a good thing to consider.

I feel you on the computer front. My last computer drove me positively batty in the last few months that I owned it. It was worth the hassle of spending a whole weekend getting a new one set up and running, though! emoticon

    I keep thinking along the lines of slotting in a second hard-disk to my computer - there are a few projects (genealogy, especially with some of the photos, etc) that are massive-memory-intensive, and I figure a second disk can help me keep things organized whilst providing me a back-up disk plus plenty of "working memory" for the day-to-day stuff.

I haven't quite figured out if I want to go down this road - I'm a decidedly non-tech person - but it's one potential solution I'm kicking around, rather than trying to work with a second computer...

    Hope the computer holds up. My name is Tom my wife's name is Carol, works well backwards for logins. The picture on my spark page is with my daughter Sarah, she deserves the credit for starting my spark people journey. Thanks so much for helping continue it.
Thanks,
Tom from Tucson
