Weekl 1, walk #1

Depending on which training schedule I look at, I was suppose to do 2 - 3 miles today. I didn't want to but I did even though it was cold and rainy outside and almost 9 pm. Mornings don't really work with the husband leaving for work by 6 am and the whole, I can't get up even with multiple alarms set situation, LOL.

To get done sooner, I even jogged part of it, about 9 minutes out of 40. So I average 16 min a mile instead of 18 min a mile that I normally walk (I did 2.5 miles tonight). However, I think I need to get a good stop watch so I can jog for a minute, walk 3-4 minutes, etc. and build up the jogging. But not bad for being as out of shape as I am.

I also tracked my food though I went over on the calories; I really need to stop the liquid calories, i.e. Starbucks. I must tell myself the next time the boss gets us all Starbucks, I will get an unsweetened iced tea, I will get an unsweetened iced tea... I did get lots of produce though; I got a bag of mixed cut veggies and put them in the fridge at work so I can have them with lunch.

Okay, tomorrow's goal is only the coffee I make at home and I'll get up on time and make a real breakfast (I got up late this morning again though I was good and got Subway). And drink at least 6 glasses of water by the time I get home from work, which means keeping better track.

    Starbucks can be a killer on the calorie count!

I don't do well, even with multiple alarms either!
