Praying for a safe journey for my girls.

Wednesday, March 06, 2013

My 2 girls and their 5 children are driving from CT to KY. They left about 3:00 p.m. eastern time and are going to try to drive through the night to get here in the morning. They are supposed to get some rain. I just hope that's all it is and not a bad thunderstorm. My son is leaving for the Navy next Tuesday and they are coming to say good bye. My other daughter, husband, and granddaughter are coming on Sat. night. I will have a GREAT time with my grandchildren while they are here. I finished their new clothes tonight. They are beautiful if I do say so myself.
The 4 dresses are for my 8 year old, 5 year old, 2 year old, and 9 month old granddaughters. The fish shirt and shorts are for my 5 year old and 3 year old grandsons. I also made the dresses reversible.

The blue butterfly material is so thin that you could see through it and so I lined them with the white. I put the white on the bottom of the butterfly material and then on the reverse side I put the white with the butterfly material on the bottom. I think they will love the outfits and I think the mothers will too! I'm very proud of them. They turned out great!
