Well..........and so on about developing habits! I am still working on the 64 ounces of water daily, and minimum of 10 minutes of exercise daily.
So, how am I doing it?? Well, the water for starters.... Every morning I wake up and right away down 16 ounces of water. Two of my eight are done right away. I have a couple cups of coffee (I have limited myself to 2 - some days I only have 1) and then I start with water. Usually as early as 9 AM. I can EASILY finish my water intake by the end of the day, as long as I remember to fill my water bottle, and take it with me places!
Now the exercise - this has been a little harder. I have had to work really hard to "give myself permission" that 10 minutes is enough. I have SUCH an all-or-nothing attitude, and I often have felt that 10 minutes isn't "good enough". So what is my solution? I do nothing. (How stupid!) So far I have almost three weeks of that minimum done. There were a few days that were SUPER hairy, and there wouldn't have been ANY working out going on - but I was adamant about allowing at LEAST 10 minutes. Other days, I haven't FELT like working out, and started out thinking "I'm ONLY doing 10 minutes", and I end up doing a LOT more. So far it's working. I'm going to keep at it! :-)
