30 Day Shred: Day 1 & My First Zumba Class!

Last night, I went to my first Dance Fitness (Zumba) class! A former classmate of mine just started this in our area and last night was free! So, of course, I went to check it out! I LOVED IT! I have done Zumba at home, with my DVDs, but this was nothing like that! The hour flew by and I was covered in sweat...but laughing and having a great time! I will definitely be going back!

Today, I started the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred program. 20 minutes a day for 30 days. I can definitely squeeze that into my schedule. And man, does that woman work you out in 20 minutes. My arms and legs were shaking when I was finished! I re-measured myself today to get some accurate "starting" measurements and I weighed in at 155. So, I am back where I was at the beginning of January weight wise... but I have lost 2" off my waist. I can't wait to see where I am at in 30 days!

59 days until my Disney Trip/wearing that bikini!

    Welcome aboard :) Just started the Shred on Monday as well. Remember muscle weighs more than fat. I have been losing a steady 1 lb per week since beg of jan... but this time around I am going slow and steady and it is working!
