Golf and Snow

Tuesday, March 05, 2013

I thought I was so cool. I took a golf lesson on March 2nd. The training center was fine. I realized how good it was to play again. We did my first hole at Manor Golf Course. As a beginner, I was stuck with its difficulty. My Pro made me feel confident in the blustry 20-30 mph wind. I did well with the hole.

When I came home, my husband stated that my playing golf so early in cold weather will cause us to have a major snow storm. Today they are showing 8 to 12 inches of snow coming our way.

Well, I dug out orange golf in the snow??

snow doesn't seem to bother the die hard fans of the sport- I would rather go for a walk or a ramble;; I'm not patient or coordinated enough to pursue the little white (or orange ) ball.. even mini golf frustrates me emoticon

My dad and brother have often played in the snow with those orange balls. There are lots of snow tourneys out there for those crazy golfers. emoticon Those strong winds will make any hole hard!
