Teeth are flossed, I'm sitting on the Swiss ball and my tracking of food has restarted! Next on the list of revived habits? Getting back to occupying my mind with my interests so that I get satisfaction in my day from other than food.
I suppose I'm really thinking about genealogy. Poking around to find out more of my family history and the life and times of the people involved is one of the most relaxing things I do. It's taken a back seat in life since the earthquakes but now I think it's time to get going on it again.
•"In all of us there is a hunger, marrow deep, to know our heritage - to know who we are and where we came from. Without this enriching knowledge, there is a hollow yearning. No matter what our attainments in life, there is still a vacuum, an emptiness, and the most disquieting loneliness." -- Alex Haley, Roots
