A small thing to celebrate, maybe, but exciting nontheless. Didn't have much lunch and was hungry by 2:30. A couple of weeks ago I'd have just grabbed whatever sounded good, regardless of what was in it. Today I found myself looking for something high in protein because I have a hard time getting enough. So out came the homemade hummus and a can of tuna. Now the recipe I found suggested spreading a tortilla with hummus and adding tuna & veggies. Sounded good, but a tortilla is over 200 calories and I thought... that's a lot for something that's basically just a carrier for getting the filling into my mouth. So I grabbed a lettuce leaf instead. 3 calories. A little messier, but completely worth it. Had 20 grams of protein and 160 calories. Cannot go wrong.
Then I topped it with a can of Coke. Oh well, can't do everything right LOL
