Multiple Personality Day

When : Always March 5th

Multiple Personality Day is an opportunity to get in touch with yourselves.

Someone with a split personality has two personalities. Someone with multiple personalities has more than two personalities. Its a psychological disorder that we hope none of our readers have.

Don't be surprised to find yourself surrounded by people who are talking to themselves today. You might find yourself talking to yourself, too!

When you wish someone "Happy Multiple Personalty Day", you may need to do so multiple times, once for each personality.

Origin of "Multiple Personality Day":
Our research did not find the creator, or the origin of this day. Perhaps, the creator assumed his other half would record it.

Sorry, I think it would be cruel to celebrate illness.
It is also Peace Corp Day: 5 (First Tuesday in March - observed) and
Unique Names Day which are much more appropriate to celebrate,

It's a terrible condition and extremely rare. Many people identify schizophrenics as DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder being the current name for the syndrome) because they both 'hear' voices.

I have a family member who suffers from this disorder. It's an awful life. People come up to her and call her different names with different experiences that she knows nothing about. She 'wakes up' hundreds of miles from home with her kids waiting at school to be picked up. On and on.

I am not sure that having multiple personalities would be cause for celebration! Who know which one would lead the way?
