Challenge Blog Entry - Day 4

Tuesday, March 05, 2013

Today has probably been the hardest day to blog only because it was hard finding a few minutes for myself so far today. We started state testing at school. I assist with the special needs students, which takes up most of my time. After school I will have to drive about 20 miles to go pick up my daughter from college because we didn't want her driving in the snowstorm today. She is a commuter and my husband dropped her off this morning.

My goals I set for myself first thing this morning were:

Make time for a healthy breakfast because of my long day. Yes I did - had oatmeal.

Drink 8 glasses of water. I have had 3 so far and will have another with lunch.

Make time for myself - at least 30 minutes. I plan on doing that after dinner tonight. I have already told my husband and daughter I need "me" time, so hopefully I get it.

Yesterday I did achieve my goals. I want to continue on.

Taking "me" time is important. Enjoy your daughter while she is home, for when they leave they are so much nicer and yet we can't be with them then. That may be why they are so much nicer? lol
