my challenge was to have 1 or 2 small snacks after work
how i am doing day by day
i am still struggling but doing better. last night i came home from work literally starving. i stood and thought about what i wanted. i even opened a container of yogurt and said, no i dont really want that. i went with my old standy-peanut butter and jelly sandwich. but instead of scooping out a ton of peanut butter, i measured a tbs. man, i gotta tell you, i was going way over that before,. no wonder i couldnt lose weight. peanut butter really can quench my appetite.
so i felt the need to munch a lttle more after that and i had a cup of dry cheerios.
this is a huge step for me. i would still like to cut back tho. i have def made huge strides compared to a few weeks ago.
what can i improve on
i am doing well, but i need to keep tv off and occupy myself with book, crossword puzzle or something that requires my mind. that way i will keep it occupied and not be thinking mindlessly about food.
i also need to go to bed earlier. right now it is around 2 am. i would like to go around 12:30 or 1 so i can wake up earlier.
