Update on me and the weather

Tuesday, March 05, 2013

I read the neatest book (next to the Bible). It's entitled "Beyond Justice" and was written by Joshua Graham. It starts out as a murder mystery, but then God stepped in and Wow! What a great book! I highly recommend it.

I AM feeling somewhat better, and the great news is that I made my calls yesterday and was able have blood drawn, and today I had my (dental) post-op check-up. The oral surgeon is pleased with the way things look, 1 week post-op. All my stitches had dissolved and I must have swallowed them. emoticon I'll go see him again in five months, hopefully for him to tell me to go to my dentist to have a new tooth made. What delights me is that I can once again blow my nose!

I have a psych appt tomorrow morning, but we're going to have to wait and see whether or not I can get there. Snow from that huge storm hitting the Mid-West is to start hitting us tonight and stick around (heavy) all day tomorrow and into Thursday morning. They keep upping the amount we're to get, and right now we're expecting 6-8 inches, with 8-10 inches not far South of us.

I know, I know, I've been saying that I wanted more than the inch or two at a time that we've been getting all this winter, and my grandsons are going to be delighted when they call school off tomorrow (and maybe Thursday). So no, I'm not complaining. I'm pretty sure my hair dresser is going to call to reschedule tomorrow's appt. If so, I may just take scissors and whack at my bangs. They're entirely too long.

Today is in the upper-30's and brightly sunny. The clouds are to move in this eve/tonight.

Glad things are going well with the dental work. Hope the snow doesn't get too deep. My son who works in Williston, ND said it was blizzard conditions there-was so bad yesterday they closed the road and he could not go to the jobsite. Cuddle up with another good book and stay warm.

Whoa, that is enough snow to stop a hair cut. Be careful with the whacking. I hope you can at least get to your psych appointment in the morning.
Yay for a good report on your tooth!
Sounds like a great book. I hope you have another one lined up for when you're snowed in. Stay warm!
