I recently blogged about my weight loss of 50 lbs in early 2012
about my weight RE-gain of 28 lbs in late 2012
I hid my scale because my scale can determine my mood and therefore determine my motivation!
But, I pulled it out of hiding today...not expecting anything great, because there has been maybe 20% exercise and 80% eating healthy and less!
I restarted my weight loss journey in 2013
January 1st I weighed 186.6 LBS
March 5th I weigh 174.6
A loss of 12 LBS in just over 2 months...I am actually okay with this, because when I lost weight back in 2012 my program was probably 60% exercise and I would only lose 8 LBS a month no matter what! I am sure that is because I was also gaining muscle which is fabulous and I really do need to exercise more for my heart and muscle gain! So that is my goal the next 2 weeks.
This 12 pound loss is JUST ENOUGH to get me from the OBESE category to the OVERWEIGHT category! I AM THRILLED to be back in there....just keep going a little at a time is better than nothing!
