How I'm Doing Day By Day

I haven't been doing very good worth tracking everything. Saturday we went
It for breakfast and I didn't attempt to track it. Sunday I tracked almost everything and was way over on my calories. Yesterday I tracked until dinner. My daughter took me to dinner for my birthday.we had Chinese and I wasn't sure how to estimate what I ate. Today I measured my food for breakfast, lunch and snacks so I will be able to track it all.

    Tracking really is a challenge, but so worth it. Keep trying your best to get as close as you can. Even if it's imperfect, it's still better than not tracking at all. emoticon

    I try to track everyday. Doesn't always happen though. But even if I know I'm over or under I like to see how I am doing and compare it to how I feel or what the scale is telling me. I have to remind myself that tracking is for my benefit, not for others to scrutinize. It is just a tool not a report card.

    I hear you about the tracking... roy's for dinner last night, and I have no idea how to track that except to say "Bad Patti" LOL... Just keep trying.. and I usually assume if I can't track it, I was over my counts... because if it was plain, I could probably find a similar food...

    Tracking is tough. We also went out to eat last night, and I overate. I came home and was so uncomfortable. Today, so far, I've just eaten fruit to hopefully counter react all the carbs I ate yesterday. Just gotta keep on plugging away at it.

    Oh boy, I understand that feeling... not being able to track when you eat out!

One of the reasons why I love these challenges is the accountability factor. When I eat out and am unable to track it, it makes me more conscious about just how damaging my eating out habit can be (especially since I have more meals out than at home). For this challenge, I am really trying to change that. I want to be accountable and start new, healthier habits!

When I do eat out, I try to choose places ahead of time. Many restaurants now have all of their nutritional information online.

NO WORRIES... remember it is day by day! You have already done better on this day!
