I did pretty great working out last week, but not so great with eating. As a result the scale is still stuck. This week I'm going to keep the exercise going and be more careful with the eating.
Yesterday I managed to sneak my workout into my work day. I tend to avoid working out at work (even though we have a room) because I don't want to get sweaty and have to change or take a faux shower. So usually if I do plan to work out at work, I do it at the end of the day, and by then I'm trying to catch up for the next day and it doesn't happen.
So I broke my workout into three intervals. First I did five minutes when I was walking by the room; I stopped in and did the elliptical. Then I went back and did 7 minutes later. Then toward the end of the day I did 8, for a total of 20. It may not be as good as a full workout all at once, but it beats nothing, and I didn't get sweaty (at lesat not enough to feel like I needed to shower or go home).
I can see this working for days when I'm going to be getting home late and wouldn't otherwise have time to work out at home.
In other news I just can't wait for the temperature to go back up so I can get back to running outside.
