Berry Green Smoothie
Hummus and cuke stuffed pita
E2 meeting Dinner out

Last night we had brown rice noodles for the first time. It was an interesting change from our usual of brown rice. I made enough for leftovers for the guys since I am going out tonight. tonight's focus is a store tour. Sure they promote, but they also promote healthy eating and do offer great tips.

Shopping has gotten easier. Purchasing fresh produce means less deciphering. It is simple:

Organic or Conventional.
Country of Origin.
In Season or not.
Does it look fresh.

I'm looking forward to adding to my knowledge base.

I have to catch up on your blogs. This sounds really interesting...but I bet you have to shop more often.

You're doing a great job with your menu and food choices. We just think it's hard until we learn, a lifestyle change and do because it's what we need to do to live a healthy aand long life. The noddles, with food, it's an acquired taste which can learn to enjoy! Good for you! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am getting ideas from your menus. You aren't making the weird stuff like I always complain about with vegan food. I can easily do hummus and cukes in a pita; today we are going hiking and I've got spinach, hummus, HAM (doh!) in a flatout. So switching to cukes would be easy.

Thanks for your daily E2 blogs -- they are good for ME, too! Have fun with your store tour. I wish I could be a mouse in your pocket!
