Week #5 Challenge

Team Challenge: Let's ensure we keep as many people as we can!! Visit your team mates, from your team and the team as a whole. Encourage them to stick with it. You may do this by visiting other teams and posting to their chat thread, visit their Sparkpage, post to a blog, issue challenges to pass on... The possibilities are endless, but we have one goal: Let's keep our motivation going!!
For each instance of encouragement through the above-mentioned ideas, earn five points. You may earn a maximum of 30 points per day. (Example: visit the sparkpage of two team mates = 10 points, post to three blogs of teammates = 15, and post to another team's chat thread = 5 points for a daily total of 30 points--as always assuming my math is correct). There is a weekly possible point total of 210.
Now for your bonus challenge: Sometimes as we get on a "diet" or healthy living journey, we find that special combination that works for us and stick with it. Do you feel you are in a rut? Let's use this week to get out of it and change things up. For each day that you do something new (new exercise, new routine, new recipe, new way of cooking...) earn 10 points for a weekly possible total of 70 points.
I love this challenge this week! I love the idea of getting the motivation out there! We have all had some pretty hard weeks during this challenge. Being sick, sick kids, plateaus, job frustrations, spouse frustrations, etc...and It's so nice to get a "goodie" or just have that one person post a note on your page saying, Hey I hope you have a good day, keep your chin up you can do this! That's all it takes to push thru and get the work done!
The second part of this challenge is to try somehting new. New food, new exercise, new SOMETHING! I'm going to try both. Food and Exercise. I tend to find what works for me and get stuck there. That is WHY I plateau. After reading all the articles about plateau's I now know that while I'm doing the right things, I"M DOING THEM FAR TOO LONG. Every week I should be changing things up a bit. I'm going to try and get in two recipes this week, and three new exercises. Whoo hoo.
