I weighed myself this weekend and was pretty surprised to see I had gained back every pound that I lost last year in about 3 months. 6lbs poof "We're baaaack", 2 inches poof, "Well hello I'm you're gross new waistline". Ugh! Time for a pep talk!
You're not all the way back at the beginning, but this sure is crappy! Your stomach is sticking out, you feel gross, and you never have any engery. What happened to the promises you made to yourself? You said you'd never go back, EVER, and that's exactly what will happen if you don't start making changes. These past months you've been lazy and stupid. You've been overwhelmed by work, but you are not allowed to use that excuse any longer! You know you've slipped back into old habits, and now you're paying the price. Eating unhealthy snacks while watching tv, ordering fries with ranch at Red Robin and sugary drinks to boot. Child what were you thinking? You're smarter than that!! Fine steal a couple of fries off his plate but don't eat a whole serving! And no more strawberry lemonades or rootbeer floats! Water, water, water. You'll save money and your waistline!
And just how do you expect to lose weight if you're not working out? You won't, so show up and shut up girlfriend. Walk, jog, do yoga or some other dvd, lift weights, just do SOMETHING at least 4 times a week.
You can't change what's happened, but you can make changes for a better future. So press the reset button and don't look back!
