Spark Coach - My Exercise Routine

I participate in the S.L.E.D. program through Anytime Fitness, so every other night, I do that. (It consists of a set of exercises in a specific order). On S.L.E.D. nights, I do 30 minutes of cardio. I switch it up between the elliptical, the treadmill, the AMT, and most recently, the rowing machine.

On non-S.L.E.D. nights, I am not supposed to do any strength training (the S.L.E.D. program consists of a rest and grow day for muscles in between work days), so I typically do 60 minutes of cardio those days. I had started the Couch2 5K program and was really enjoying it, however I haven't done it in a few weeks due to the gym getting new equipment that I was eager to try.

As the gym is 25 minutes from my house, but only 5 minutes from work, I usually only go the gym on work nights, so I go 4 nights one week and 5 nights the next.

As a little extra, my job sometimes requires a lot of walking in a day, and I made a goal this year to not take the elevator unless I was escorting a client, so I definitely get my flights in each day!

I think I have a nice mix of work and rest. There's not much I would change about my program. I did just start mixing up the cardio this year and I saw a nice spike in weight loss with that.
