3) What am I doing to encourage myself and keep on track?

I know that identification of the habit to change is the easy part. Finding an alternative that I can and will use for long enough to make it a habit is the hard part.

Well, to decrease unhealthy snacks, especially Poison Chips, a.k.a., Sour Cream and Onion Pringles, I will
1. Make sure there is cool water nearby at all times. For me, thirst sets me up for cravings.
2. Have a variety of snacks available at home and at work.
3. Keep to a regular schedule so that I eat something every 3-4 hours. If there is too much time between meals/snacks, the Craving Beast awakens.

    Check out Dr. Oz's informative information on Fat, Sugar, and Salt...the perfect deathly combo the big foodies put into chips and other foods to make us addicted...sometimes food can be worse than drugs. The more you know about how big biz and their driven ways to make profit even at the expense of killing off the very consumers they hope to attract if gives you a completely different perspective.
